The title for this latest painting, Through the Storm, came almost unbidden, a bit like the artwork itself.  Thoughts of dark nights mingled with wonderings about the exhilaration of running free, unburdened by care, as a stormy backdrop took shape on the paper. Closely followed by a galloping white horse, mane whipping behind in the speed of flight.

My work often features creatures at night, many times running, sometimes listening or waiting.
